Mossy Stone Farms (July 3rd - 5th)

Mossy Stone Farms (July 3rd - 5th)
This one is rooted a little deeper in the land. Mossy Stone Farms sits up in the northern Catskills, super intentional, no spray, no till, everything grown with care. You can feel it when you’re there.
The weekend leans into that connection. We’ll spend time on the farm, learning how things are grown, getting our hands in the soil, and seeing the full cycle up close. Alongside that, Maya will be guiding us through the astrology of the plant world, how different plants connect to different signs and seasons, and how to read your own chart as part of that same system. Bring your birth chart and any personal astrology questions! It’s a cool blend of physical and a little more esoteric, but all grounded in what’s right in front of you.
Food is coming from Margot, whose cooking is really shaped by growing up eating straight from her mom’s garden. It’s very produce forward, simple in a thoughtful way, and tied directly to what’s in season on the farm.
Mornings start slow with yoga and meditation led by Kia, who brings a super grounded, intentional energy to it. It’s not just movement, it’s about dropping in, connecting to your body, and setting the tone for the day.
Location: Mossy Stone Farms
Mossy Stone Farms is a small "beyond organic" farm located in the beautiful northern Catskills, New York State. We are a no spray & no-till market garden. We don't use herbicides, chemical fertilizers, or synthetic pesticides that are both harmful to the environment as well as human health. Instead, we use copious amounts of organically produced compost, and in some cases beneficial cover crops.
The Chef: Margot Richter
a cook whose work is shaped by a childhood spent eating meals made from her mother’s backyard garden. What once felt like an endless stream of homemade, healthy(ish) food has since become a lasting source of inspiration. That early connection to fresh, seasonal ingredients continues to influence her cooking today, and her career has remained closely tied to produce in one form or another ever since.
The Artist: Maya Netzer
a visual artist, farmer and practicing astrologer from New York. She has been doing intuitive readings for private clients and events for the last eight years. While we farm, we’ll learn from Maya about the astrology of the plant world, the plant medicines connected with each sign and season, and how to understand your chart as an energetic system
