The Chef

Deadnettle is a dinner pop-up based in NYC. We’re a small team of chefs who came up through various kitchens across the country before crossing paths in Greenpoint in 2024. Each month, one of us takes the helm of the kitchen. Inspired by our diverse culinary backgrounds and the ever-changing seasons, no two menus are ever the same.

Location: The House in the Sky

No longer an operational farm, but still lovingly maintained by the same family for generations, Peri Wahn is located on the outskirts of Barnard, Vermont. Secluded and surrounded by rolling hills, nearby independent farms, and fields lush with greenery, it’s the perfect place to frolic and forage.

Expect dreamy days among peeking flowers and leafy trees—and roaring bonfires under a blanket of stars by night. Still standing are the family’s original 1800s farmhouse, an empty horse barn, and a former chicken coop.

Day 1 - (7.3.25)

12:00 PM – Pickup at Five Leaves (for those adding transportation)
6:00 PM – Arrival, settle in, hang
6:30 PM – Opening Ceremony
7:00 PM – Communal dinner (hot dogs & cheeseburgers)

Day 2 - (7.4.25)

8:00 AM – Morning Creative Ritual
9:00 AM – Breakfast
10:00 AM – Natural Dye Workshop
12:00 PM – Lake + “Sandies”
4:00 PM – Return to home base (free time); optional self-guided art session
7:00 PM – Dinner with Deadnettle
9:00 PM – Campfire

8:00 AM – Morning Creative Ritual
9:00 AM – Breakfast
11:00 AM – Dairy farm visit to Kiss the Farm + Group Art Session
2:00 PM – Lunch
4:00 PM – Group Art Session
7:00 PM – Dinner with Deadnettle
9:00 PM – Campfire

8:00 AM – Morning Creative Ritual
9:00 AM – Breakfast
10:00 AM – Closing Ceremony
11:00 AM – Head home
