Labor Day Weekend with The Hancock 2025

Labor Day Weekend with The Hancock 2025

from $500.00

Location: Pine Planes, New York

A charming little hamlet tucked between rolling farmland and quiet hills in the Hudson Valley. With its white steeple churches, old barns, and a Main Street that feels like it’s straight out of a storybook, Pine Plains is the kind of place where the pace slows and the stars still shine bright. There’s a strong sense of community, a deep love for the land, and just enough quirk to keep it interesting — think tractor parades, lake swims, and some truly excellent pie.

The Chef: Mattew Yee

Matthew Yee is a chef from New York City. Born and raised in both a Chinese and Jewish home, he explores the intersection between these two cuisines. With a diverse professional background that includes food science and farming, he is now shaping his cooking identity through Queenies, where he is developing his own culinary style, playfully referred to as "Chewish Cuisine.

The Host: The Hancock Foundation

TheHancockFoundation is a Brooklyn-based artist residency and cultural space dedicated to supporting the arts, fostering community, and nurturing emerging talent. With a strong focus on music, we’ve hosted countless intimate shows and helped launch the careers of many independent musicians.

For thier collaboration with Treetop Journeys, they are curating a special two-day musical experience featuring artists from our community.
